PLEASE NOTE

This venue does NOT supply bedding or towels to attendees of this event, you shall be required to bring your OWN. After dark paranormal UK will not be responsible for supplying bedding or towels IMPORTANT INFORMATION: General admission tickets only supplies you with the option to stay the night, if you choose to do so please note we can NOT guarantee a bedroom for you to sleep in. If you would like a guaranteed bedroom you must purchase a VIP ticket. We advise all guests who attend that have purchased a general admission ticket to bring a sleeping bag if you choose to stay the night.

The venue does offer parking but has a limited number of spaces for our guests, these spaces will be allocated on a first come first serve bases. Other parking facility’s will be given via Email/Text message a week before the event. During the days of your stay with us at Secunda Manor although we will be doing mini vigils throughout the day, you are welcome to make plans to explore the surrounding area and return in the evening hours when the “official” investigations start.

HISTORY

Llanthony Secunda Manor in Caldicot, South Wales is drenched in history. This 800 year old building has reports of paranormal activity dating back hundreds of years! And is considered to be the a “Mecca” venue for paranormal investigators due to the buildings rich history and countless eye wetness reports paranormal activity! The history of this Manor has been traced back to the reign of Henry I between 1136 and 1205. It was in this building that during the reigns of King Stephen and Queen Matilda the Augustinian monks of Llanthony Prima Priory took refuge in Secunda. The presence of monks have been reported to be seen by many people who have spent the night at this amazing manor! They are known to dramatically make their presence known as there is often chanting and humming heard around the bedrooms, not to mention the sounds of footsteps throughout the building. King Henry VIII owned this property in 1536 yet it has been questioned that he never lived in the manor and in 1540 he allowed Charles Dace to live in this building when he was appointed as Henry’s bailiff & farmer. Fast forward nearly 500 years! The manor still stands strongly as one of the most must see locations for lovers of history and the paranormal! The question we ask you, is if you have the courage to spend the night in one of the most haunted buildings we’ve ever investigated!

Adding to our terms & conditions (please read before booking) we would like to highlight some FAQ

Smoking & Vaping are not allowed within the building, a designated smoking area will be allocated on the night of the event. Anybody caught consuming alcohol during the hours of the investigation will be asked to leave, Anybody caught violating “No Drug” policy will be immediately removed from the event and the police will be noted & called if needed. After Dark team members have the right to search your belongings if we suspect you are under the influence and attempting to hide narcotics. When our investigation concludes in the early hours of the morning you are expected to respect other customers at the event including surrounding neighbours. COVID-19 updates if the event is postponed due to ANY covid related regulations such as a lockdown, limited venue capacity’s etc, you will Not be eligible for a refund. After dark paranormal will be given full details on a rescheduled date for the event, this could take up to a year to rearrange a new date. If a new date can not be agreed or scheduled then the event will be classes as cancelled and you will then be eligible for a full refund.
